The Schools Engagement team takes the lead on engaging schools with State Library services and collections. The team explores new ways to connect our services, collections and programs to the school curriculum. Designing, delivering and packaging structured programs for onsite and online for educators, teacher librarians and students.
As Program Officer, Schools Engagement you will work with a small enthusiastic team delivering programs linked to curriculum that are engaging and relevant to a schools audience. You will use your strong knowledge of curriculum to create onsite and online programs that connect State Library's collections and services to the curriculum. This will include the overseeing the development of content for Curriculum Connect, developing and delivering activities for a schools audience for the Anzac Square Memorial Galleries and onsite exhibitions, and coordinating our teacher development offering.You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills to create external and internal relationships to assist you in delivering the School's Engagement team's events and programs.
