About the RoleAs the Principal Business Analyst, Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO), you will undertake business analyst activities to support project initiation, feasibility, design and evaluation.
In this role, your responsibilities will include : Provide support and guidance to Sponsors and Project Initiators when writing business cases and undertake cost-benefit analysis activities to support this.
Undertake economic, financial and business analysis to evaluate project options.
Apply business analysis skills to identify functional and non-functional project requirements and evaluate options against these.
Write and review business cases for proposed projects.
Produce high quality business documentation.
Write financial and / or economic arguments for project initiatives.
Apply business analysis skills to support the evaluation of projects during execution and upon completion.
Contribute to project-based business analysis skill enhancement across LAQ.
Facilitate the setting of measurable targets for anticipated benefits.
Explain project and ePMO processes to business stakeholders.
And other responsibilities such as : Actively participate in team planning and ensure all work complies with corporate responsibilities.
Model the values of respect, quality and accountability.
Maintain a high standard of practice through governance and risk management.
How You Will be AssessedThe ideal applicant will be someone who has the following capabilities.
You have in-depth applied knowledge of project business analysis (BA) techniques with the ability to apply and tailor principles, processes and tools from a range of recognised methodologies.
You are skilled in applying BA principles, process and tools, and in coaching others to do the same and your experience spans a wide range of project types and size with stakeholders across all organisational levels.
You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, offer convincing rationale, negotiate persuasively and your advice influences decision making.
