What you will do as the Assistant Director, Renewable Energy Zones Lead a small team conducting analytical activities, providing clear direction, supervision, guidance, and development opportunities. Research, investigate, and analyze relevant information to develop insights, advice, and recommendations for the AER Board. Manage stakeholder relationships, especially with NSW roadmap entities such as the Infrastructure Planner and the Consumer Trustee. Contribute to the management and planning of complex, long-term projects or project aspects. About You To succeed in this role, you will have :

Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, complex, people-centered organization. Strong research, investigation, and analysis skills to develop insights, advice, and recommendations. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with effective interpersonal skills for negotiation and influence. Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, capable of working independently or in a team. Knowledge or experience with competitive tender processes, especially related to public sector infrastructure procurement, or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge.
