The University of Adelaide, in collaboration with Austofix, a leading orthopaedic device manufacturer, invites applications for two fully funded PhD positions focused on Proximal Femoral Nailing for hip fracture patients. These projects offer a unique opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team at the intersection of clinical research and medical device innovation.

Eligibility Requirements

Meet the requirements for PhD admission at the University of Adelaide, including English language proficiency.

Hold a high-quality Honours or Masters degree in a relevant field (healthcare, engineering, or related disciplines).

Demonstrate experience or strong interest in healthcare or engineering, particularly in image-based analysis or predictive tool development.

Ability to enrol as a full-time PhD student and remain based in Adelaide, South Australia for the duration of the award.

Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within large research teams.
