Daifuku Oceania is the industry leader in Intralogistics (warehousing and distribution) and Airport (Baggage Handling) systems. Due to continued growth in our pipeline of works, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Managers based in Brisbane.

About the role – Expressions of Interest

This is an exciting Hybrid Position based in Brisbane, reporting to our Australia Regional Project Director. You will successfully deliver automated engineering-based projects from the project scope of works, developing strong mutually supportive relationships, actively managing project budget and cost estimates meeting client expectations across our project site(s) in Brisbane.

Your responsibilities will include :

• End to end project management from scope management, budget control, contract scheduling, subcontract management, supply chain management, quality control to commissioning of the works.
• Coordinate multi-discipline system design and associated supporting infrastructure
• Manage on-site and off-site activities of sub-trades, suppliers and other supporting infrastructure
• Maintain a safe and stimulating work environment for all team members
• Oversight of project team assigned to projects
• Administrate the head contract and all associated secondary and subcontracts
• Client and client representative relationship management

About you

A team player with a positive, proactive attitude, you’ll bring proven project management experience in project management of automated engineering-based projects (preference for material handling systems).

• Experience in the design and construction of Mechanical and / or Electrical / Controls systems
• Strong commercial acumen with contractual experience
• Confident with planning, organisation and directing of resources, prioritisation skills
• Customer centric with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience in Project Scheduling packages such as Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar and MS Excel.
