We have an exciting opportunity for a Wind Turbine Service Technician at Windy Hill Windfarm, located near Ravenshoe on the Atherton Tableland in Queensland. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical trade background who is eager to transition into the renewables sector and enjoys a secure role where you will be home every night.
We provide comprehensive Wind Farm Technician training, along with a phone and vehicle. We are committed to investing in your ongoing development and there will be ample opportunities for growth as you progress. Working as part of a small team you will have the chance to get involved in all aspects of the Wind farm operations with a focus on routine maintenance, breakdown maintenance and implementing upgrades on wind turbines. The role will provide you with lots of variety and a wide range of responsibilities to learn and contribute to.
This is a permanent, full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and call out roster so we are looking for someone who resides locally.
Please note that as this is a permanent residential role it unfortunately will not support a FIFO arrangement or temporary work visa.
