The Human Resource (HR) Operations Partner is responsible for the provision of HR services to Thales Australia through the delivery of accurate and consistent case management services and implementation support of the annual cycle of HR campaign activities.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide the seamless execution of Thales HR Together lifecycle processes that are aligned to the leadership and management development of our employees by providing project management delivery, guidance and coaching to Line Managers on :
  • Performance Appraisals (Annual Activity Discussions - AADs)
  • Career Discussions (Professional Development Discussions - PDD's)
  • Salary Review
  • Succession Planning (People Review)
  • Validation of the annual training plan
  • Coordination of key annual recognition and reward activities such as the annual Gala Awards
  • Provide advice and consultancy to Line Managers on people management issues and case management services where appropriate in relation to :
  • Performance management and disciplinary processes
  • Formal complaints and grievances
  • Escalation of high risk issues to the appropriate level in the HR organisation
  • Provide implementation support to change programmes and initiatives, including projects arising from Corporate Headquarters in France (referred to as Group) as well as local HR function and its Centre of Expertise.
  • Deliver global and local HR concepts, processes, tools and solutions and adapt and deploy to local organisational needs
  • Use, analyse and suggest data and trends proactively to identify key priorities and activities to support business objectives.
  • Implement opportunities for improvement to enhance service quality and cost effectiveness i.e. employee turnover, excessive leave
  • Ensure that HR issues and consequences are managed appropriately, consistently and effectively to minimise business impact
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Relevant tertiary qualification / s coupled with previous experience in a similar HR or ER advisory role, ideally supporting both remote and on-site stakeholders
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, demonstrated HR systems skills and the ability to interpret complex data when required
  • Skilled communicator, strong customer service skills and a collaborative approach to stakeholder partnerships
  • Strong administrative skills and a proven attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure
