Join to apply for the Relief Operator role at City of Parramatta2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Relief Operator role at City of ParramattaJob DescriptionAn exciting career opportunity arises to join the City of Parramatta as a Relief Operator in our growing Waste and Cleansing team.Job DescriptionAn exciting career opportunity arises to join the City of Parramatta as a Relief Operator in our growing Waste and Cleansing team.About the role : City of Parramatta are currently seeking relief operators to join our growing team to ensure Parramatta's Public Domain is maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of the city and to promote Parramatta as Australia's next great city!Duties will include : Undertaking inspections to the public domain and assetsImplementing work practices in line with waste and cleansing industryOperating Mechanical Street Sweepers, Garbage Rear loading Compactors and operating a high-pressure cleaning unit pressure cleaning pavementThis position is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday, 2 : 30am-11 : 30am.You will be starting and finishing at Council's Rydalmere Operations Depot or Council's Wentworth Street Compound Parramatta as required.About YouWe are looking for someone with : Current MR NSW Driver's LicenseWhite CardPrevious experience in a similar role and operational environmentPrevious experience operating mechanical street sweepers & garbage compactors.Competent understanding of small and heavy plant operations applicable to Cleansing Services.What's on offer : We are offering an attractive remuneration of $65,814 plus 12% superannuation.This position may attract additional allowances in accordance with the Local Government Award 2023.In addition, City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which include : 9-Day FortnightSignificant leave benefits 3 additional leave days at Christmas, 15 days sick / personal leave including 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year)14 weeks paid parental leaveUniform providedFree Onsite Parking & onsite gymAccess to Long Service Leave after 5 yearsLearning and Development opportunitiesHealth and Wellbeing programsWant to know more?Further information regarding the requirements of this role can be found in the attached Position DescriptionHow To ApplyCandidates must apply online.
