    • Position purpose
    • Under the broad direction of the Chief Operating Officer & Principal - Victoria, the incumbent will assist with the operational management of academic & student services functions to deliver quality teacher / customer service in order to achieve the College's vision and mission.

      The primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day activities & oversee a range of activities and project work for the College's academic and campus operations including but not limited to timetabling, staffing administration, induction and mentoring of tutor / teachers, and provision and management of professional development programs, & provide high service standards in the educational servicing functions to generate growth in students' enrolments. The incumbent should contribute to improvements to curriculum and teaching materials and teach as necessary.

      The incumbent should exhibit a detailed and professional approach to building value-add customer relationships, handling enquiries, problem solving, identifying educational service trends and determining system & process improvements in line with

      North Shore policies, systems and procedures.

      As a senior member of the Victorian team, the incumbent will actively identify opportunities for optimum resource allocations, make substantial contributions to and participate in the provision of a range of academic operations, management functions, including finance, staff, resources, industry / stakeholders' connectivity, policy and planning, student administration and office management.

      Teaching staff will have indirect reporting to the incumbent who will provide the operational context in which they work together with guidance and support.

      There is the expectation to have the ability to deliver College curriculum to students from time to time to relief teacher absences and have the ability to respond to the differing needs of all students especially in relation to cultural difference teach.

      In addition, the position will work closely with senior stakeholders to achieve the overall strategic goals of North Shore Victoria, managing specific projects where needed.

      The role will require work on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is based in Principal

      Campus & may require work at other corporate Campuses on weekends as required.

    • Key Performance Accountabilities
    • Academic Operations
    • Identify and implement opportunities for cost minimisation
    • Operations Establish an environment of supervisor / exemplary customer service (internal & external)
    • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day academic operations to ensure quality service delivery aligned with North Shore Performance Framework and Employee Handbook / Code of Conduct.
    • This includes but not limited to teacher allocations, general processes related to academic & administrative activities, documentation such as teacher / class records ensuring they are in line with North Shore policies and systems procedures; including but not limited to :
    • Co-ordinate teachers' feedback on course material
    • Reconcile & collate teachers timesheets & prepare for payroll
    • Student record maintenance, assessment & progress tracking
    • Teachers' queries and resolution
    • Promoting corporate image
    • Resolving operational issues
    • Compliance with corporate standards
    • Printing, and distribution of teaching materials
    • Conduct special competition and examinations
    • Teacher Resource Allocations : Responsible for ensuring accurate teacher scheduling, recording and management of academic staff hours and classes. Casual Relief Teaching (CRT) allocation tasks required.
