Are you a flexible, adaptable, and driven professional? Join the Drug Health Services team at South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) as a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) or Clinical Midwifery Consultant (CMC) in our Substance Use in Parenting and Pregnancy Service (SUPPS).
SUPPS is dedicated to supporting pregnant women facing substance use challenges. We offer intake assessments, treatment services, and case management during pregnancy and postpartum, with plans to extend care up to two years postnatally.
We seek a dynamic, engaging professional passionate about supporting mothers with substance use issues, their babies, and their families through a trauma-informed approach.

What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Midwife Consultant (CMC) / Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The CMC / CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership.
The CMC / CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CMC / CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.
Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Drug Health Services operates across the South Western Sydney Local Health District, providing a comprehensive range of treatments and interventions for individuals, families, and carers affected by alcohol and other drug use.
The services include inpatient withdrawal at the 'Corella' unit in Fairfield, the Opioid Treatment Program, outpatient clinics, and specialised teams such as the Aboriginal Drug & Alcohol Team and the Youth Service.
