FANZCA – Anaesthetist

The Position :

This is an incredible opportunity to work as a full-time, permanent Anaesthetist at South Australia’s largest regional hospital.

As a senior member of the anaesthetic team, you will be responsible for pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care of surgical and obstetric patients, with input into the management of patients in the High Dependency Unit and in emergency situations when on duty.

The department is an accredited training facility, and you will be required to supervise Principal House Officers, Junior House Officers, Interns, Registrars, and Provisional Fellows.

The Facility :

It is both a teaching hospital and a work-based assessment facility, attracting strong junior support.

Requirements :

Hold FANZCA or postgraduate qualifications and experience in anaesthetics meeting ANZCA standards, or :

• New Zealand FANZCA, or
• IMGS with training assessed by ANZCA and comparable outcomes
