Medical Receptionist

Sunnybank Private Hospital is comprised of consulting suites, 7 theatres, 2 procedure rooms, day surgery unit, Maternity, Medical and Surgical wards, as well as a 6 bed ICU.As a Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer in our Consulting Suites, your responsibilities will include :

• Welcoming and assisting patients
• Managing incoming calls and emails
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Maintain accurate and effective record management systems
• Manage the collection of payments for consult and theatre appointments
• Providing general day to day practice and administration support
• Essential Criteria :
• Authority to Work in Australia
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Works well independently and within a team
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early / late shifts
• Experience in a Medical or Hospital administration is desirable.
