Our client, one of Australia's fastest growing Financial Services organisations, is seeking a Head of Fund Reporting - Superannuation to join their team on a daily rate contract for 12 months + 12 month extension. You will ensure that timely and accurate financial control and external reporting requirements are delivered to management and regulators within agreed timeframes and conform to best practice.
- Key Accountabilities
- Managing the financial reporting obligation and regulatory delivery of the entities
- Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the FLT to make critical business decisions
- Play a role in the formulation of Finance strategy
- Managing the external auditor relationship and ensuring the Funds are compliant with regulatory reporting and accounting standards
- Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Co-Presenting results of the products to Boards
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of employees
- Overseeing the financial control and reporting aspect of the Funds
- Managing and tracking accounting information
- Reviewing all formal internal policies and procedures
- Assistance with trusts reporting and governance (and overall team governance and deliverables) as and when required.

- High level of understanding of accounting and tax principles affecting the wealth industry

- Familiarity with financial regulations - Excellent level of financial laws and procedures in order to protect the products and ensure that they are making legal and sound decisions
