Randstad is delighted to partner with one of Australia's leading defence primes, BAE Systems, who are recruiting experienced Boilermakers for major naval shipbuilding programs in Osborne, SA.

This permanent, full-time position is a great opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to grow their career and make a valuable contribution to the defence shipbuilding industry.

Duties

You will be working in the most advanced and modern shipbuilding hub in Australia, constructing world-class naval vessels as part of the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

Working as part of a fabrication team to complete new and repair work on naval ships

MIG welding on Mild steel and some Flux Core welding

Pipe welding and structural welding as required

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications

Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements

Skills & Experience

Trade Qualified

Experience in Fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding

Ability to read drawings
