With a flexible location, including work from home, this role has a People & Culture generalist focus supporting several aspects of People Culture & Wellbeing lifecycle. The role is responsible for providing customer focused advice and solutions to drive successful business outcomes around a range of people related matters.
Ideally you will have strong advisory experience, including performance management, workplace investigations, employee relations, and generalist HR enquiries.
Duties include :
- Provide HR support throughout the employee lifecycle
- Provide effective coaching, and advice on managing people and team effectiveness
- Respond to queries relating to Employee Relations, providing advice in line with policy, procedures and legislation
- Interpret and respond to queries relating to Award, EBA and Policy
- Assist with queries relating to payroll and recruitment
- Ensure the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment whilst ensuring compliance to all legislative and company policies and procedures
- Initiate and contribute towards continuous improvement with all HR processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and quality of work
- Ensure best practice HR services are provided at all times
About You :
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline - Desirable
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist or similar
- Proven ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, and provide advice accordingly
- Solid knowledge of generalist People & Culture best practice and organisational policies
- Strong, professional communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work independently (remote) and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
