Hybrid working arrangements available!Job DescriptionTo be successful in this role you will need to establish and control all financial and fiscal management of the division's operations under the direction of the Group Executive and MedHealth Executive, drive commercialisation and growth, and drive projects including but not limited to platform integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.The role will demonstrate leadership to a team of 11 with 1 direct report who provide financial / accounting services to the broader Health and Business Solutions Division.Key responsibilities include : Represent the division at board meetings alongside the Group ExecutiveAssist and drive commercialisation and growth of the divisionLead financial management for the Health and Business Solutions Division, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports and forecastsDirect the establishment of financial principles and practices in line with statutory and corporate requirementsIdentify and develop opportunities to increase business value, advising on financial implications of management decisionsImplement effective financial controls and maintain appropriate management accounting systems and budgetary controlsEnsure compliance with statutory obligations, including tax returns and insurance coverageParticipate in developing corporate strategies as a member of the division's executive teamQualificationsCertified Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant for a minimum of 5 yearsTertiary Qualification in Accounting or relevant fieldSound business and commercial acumen and outcome focused with appropriate risk management and balanced solutionsExperience within health, government and technology will be highly regardedDemonstrated ability to lead and manage a team to achieve organisational goalsHighly developed problem solving and the ability to provide effective solutions within established frameworks and resourcesAbility to work with a high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to adapt and be flexible to organisational changes and requirementsAbility to work effectively within a team environment to achieve organisational and team goalsCompetent in the use of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel and relevant accounting platformsAdditional InformationBe part of the MedHealth group voted Financial Review Boss Best Places to Work .
