The Senior Solicitor - Construction and Major Infrastructure Projects is a position within the Crown Solicitor's Office, working directly with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major projects such as the Torrens-to-Darlington (T2D) Project, the Tram Grade Separation Project, and other significant DIT projects.
If you are an experienced lawyer seeking to develop your career in construction and infrastructure law, this role provides a chance to gain valuable experience and influence contract negotiations with industry leaders.
The successful candidate will provide legal advice and leadership in construction law and infrastructure projects, with experience in areas like commercial law, procurement, environment, planning, property, and public law being advantageous.
You will build networks across CSO, DIT, the South Australian Government, and industry, managing relationships with external firms.

The role reports to the Executive Solicitor (DIT), collaborates with solicitors across CSO, and manages junior lawyers. A key focus will be advising the North-South Corridor Program Delivery Office on the T2D Project, a major multi-billion dollar infrastructure project.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory Police Certificate. Applicants must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted practicing certificate in South Australia.
