Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$130.00 / hr - A$140.00 / hrHybrid opportunity based in CanberraAustralian Citizens with an active NV1 Government Security ClearanceFacilities Design LeadLarge Federal Government DepartmentHybrid opportunity based in CanberraAustralian Citizens with an active NV1 Government Security ClearanceDuties / Skills Required : Lead the Facilities tasks within the program;Report on and provide advice to the Senior Leadership Team on Facilities;Report on the identification, assessment and control of risks;Conduct and attend weekly internal and external meetings; andProvide oversight and guidance on the Facilities budget;Manage the short, medium and long term facilities requirements for the workforce and data center facilities.Experience managing and maintaining large enterprise datacentres.Experience configuring and administering datacentre electronic and physical security systems.Experience in managing and authoring datacentre documentation suites (access control, SOPs etc.

Experience in installing and configuring enterprise monitoring and DCIM tools.Experience designing and managing passive cabling infrastructure within a data-hall and between geographically separated sites.Experience designing and documenting data-hall rack layouts including active and passive infrastructure.Experience in supervising maintenance, installation and updates of datacentre systems both physical and software.Knowledge and experience about remote management processes.Experience with vendor management and engagement.Good project management skills.Liaison skills for overseeing and coordination of the external facilities teams;Attention to detail with the ability to create high quality documentation and procedures;Practical knowledge and understanding of the Facilities processes and capability;Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of presentation and engagement with stakeholders, projects and business areas.Role particulars : Submission due : 01 / 07Security clearance : Active NV1 clearance is essentialLocation : Canberra, A.C.TWorking arrangements : Mon – Fri, flexible arrangements available on case-by-case basis;Work hours may be affected by online international conferences.
