The Australian Equine & Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is one of the most unique events complexes in Australia; attracting a diverse range of world class and national events. It is a major contributor to the economic development and strength of our Region with opportunities to expand the commercial and tourism prospects of this incredible facility.

Do you have experience in event planning and delivery, and a passion for compliance and documentation?

Council is seeking an individual with experience in delivering events and meeting compliance obligations.

The Event Support & Compliance Officer Is Responsible For

Assisting the AELEC events team in the planning, coordination, and execution of events.Ensuring all events comply with relevant regulations, industry standards and AELEC policies.Assisting with the administrative tasks related to event management and operations.Delivering high level customer serviceWorking closely with the AELEC team to ensure smooth event operations and resolve any issues that arise.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

Diploma in Event Management or equivalent experienceCertificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experienceCurrent Driver Licence (Class C)Immunisations for Hepatitis, Tetanus, Q Fever (or willingness to undergo)

Salary range : Grade 12 : $1,396.20 - $1,510.80 per week plus 11.5% superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

The ordinary hours of work are 38 hours per week not exceeding 152 hours in any 4 week period.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
