About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail orientated, professionals ready to deepen their existing Project Engineering and Management and leadership experiences, or take their next step into a leadership role as a Project Manager.

You will be responsible for the definition, development, execution and control of project scopes, plans, budgets, risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects across early phase exploration and development life cycle.
  • Project budget, scheduling, risk and opportunity management.
  • Act as focal point for team collaboration and team management.
  • Assist in reviewing and negotiating contracts, and reviewing and administrating executed contracts.
  • Manage budget and resource allocation to ensure project delivery to the required program milestones
  • Coordinate the engagement of consultants and contractors for contributions to project delivery
  • Contribute to and the development of project management systems, plans, procedures and templates.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering and / or Project Management.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Project Engineering and / or Project Management across multiple aspects of project lifecycle including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in management of Engineering Design Consultants and Design and / or Construction packages.
  • Candidates with experience in design feasibility studies (FS / DFS), front-end engineering design (FEED), and / or Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phases, prior to final investment decision (FID), preferred.
  • Previous successes in delivering multiple / concurrent projects, undertaking day to day project coordination, development and execution of project plans.
  • Experience in project schedule (MS Project) and critical path analysis.
  • Good commercial acumen in managing resources and budgets.
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and an ability to motivate others.
  • This role is based in South Perth, with adhoc travel to Project sites as required.
