About the opportunity – Site Supervisor, QLD

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our MPS division based in Eight Mile Plains QLD. The Site Supervisor will play a key role in our Dose Administration Aid (DAA) business. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive reliable and exceptional service, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

The key responsibilities of the Site Supervisor will include :

  • Production Oversight :  Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring high-accuracy outputs within tight deadlines.
  • Performance Measurement :  Measure and report on production effectiveness and team performance.
  • Team Leadership :  Lead and motivate the team, fostering a safe working environment and upholding policies and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement :  Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and collaborate with site technicians for ongoing enhancements.
  • Standard Enforcement :  Enforce standard operating procedures, including Health & Safety and Quality Control.
  • Efficiency Management :  Ensure efficient packing and storage practices, maintain equipment storage and plant hygiene, and align labour hours with budget targets.
  • Quality Assurance :  Assist in quality investigations, leave management, and commit to SQPD performance expectations.
  • Customer Focus :  Achieve daily DIFOT targets and collaborate with customer service to ensure timely deliveries.
  • People Management :  Set clear goals and expectations, manage recruitment and performance, and foster teamwork while embodying Sigma Healthcare’s values.

  • Sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and experience working in a production team environment.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Advanced Excel skills, and experience with SharePoint are desirable.
  • Sound financial acumen and attention-to-detail.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and leads by example with strategic thinking and a positive attitude.
  • Occasional travel may be required between sites. The successful candidate will need to hold a current, full driver's license.
