  • About the role :

    The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Supervisor Planner Assets - HME to join them on a Monday – Friday roster based at Perth with regular site travel (Monday-Tuesday). Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Scheduling and leading a team of 6 you will be responsible for implementing effective equipment maintenance strategies and to manage the health of the Mobile Assets. The main objective of this position is to optimise equipment reliability and deliver a high level of maintenance efficiency through accurate planning and scheduling of work orders.

    This position will require significant involvement throughout the design and development of the Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS). It will play an important role in setting the direction of asset availability and reliability.

    Duties :

    • Champion and lead the team with the maintenance planning and work management processes.
    • promoting a culture of equipment care and reliability within the mobile maintenance team.
    • Conduct regular reviews with execution Supervisors to prioritize and process all maintenance
    • notifications and work requests.
    • Establishing and overseeing recording of maintenance history for all mobile plant and equipment.
    • Manage off-site shutdowns on mobile assets through the planning cycle and take ownership of implementing continuous improvement using key learnings.
    • Preparation of mid to long term component and maintenance forecasts.
    • Develop and implement maintenance tactics based on mitigating failure risk using RCM and FMECA techniques, OEM manuals and technical data.
    • Preparation and development of overarching maintenance plans.
    • Monitoring compliance to maintenance systems, process and procedures and ensuring appropriate information and training is available, coaching of maintenance planners.
    • Monitor, report and reforecast Maintenance Cost Budgets (MCB) for maintenance activities in area of responsibility Monthly / Annually.
    • Skills and Experience :

    • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field; or, an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience.
    • Planning and scheduling qualification at certificate level or above.
    • Current full West Australian "C" class motor vehicle license or current equivalent Australian State motor vehicle license
    • Sound skills in SAP maintenance module. Including Management of SAP PM Master Data
    • including technical objects, maintenance plans, items, task lists, BOM’s and measuring points.
    • Ability to define accurate work scopes and develop procedures.
    • Experience in negotiating maintenance requirements.
