The successful applicants will be part of a dynamic team contributing to effectively cleaning and maintaining a clean, healthy environment for the patients.
Working as part of the cleaning services Team, the Cleaner is responsible for duties assigned in preparing, regeneration, plating, delivering and high-quality cleaning throughout the day. It also includes outstanding customer service, health cleaning, and sanitising items in cleaning areas and equipment.
- Meet safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Set up Cleaning Trolleys
- Clean resident's rooms and bathrooms / Hospital Rooms
- Clean communal areas
- Laundry experience is highly desirable but not necessary
- Maintain adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use
- Complete cleaning records
- Requirements for the Role
- Previous experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Retirement Living, Hospitals)
- Excellent communication skills to meet the needs of residents / patients
- Current National Police Certificate
- Current flu vaccination
- COVID Vaccination
- Your reliable car and licence
- The ability to work as an organised team player
- Flexible availability across a seven-day roster
- What you bring
- Previous experience, preferably within healthcare
- Experience in the delivery of Cleaning Services, including an ability to negotiate favourable outcomes for patients
- A clear understanding of food safety guidelines
- A competent level of verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- On a Personal Level, you will need the following
- A proactive "Can-Do" approach to your work and an ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated experience in customer service in a healthcare or hospitality environment
- An interest in working with and caring for people
