18 month Contract

  • Attractive Salary of $110,203 - $121,238 plus 15.4% superannuation
  • About Our Client

The Business Services Portfolio runs the business of the Department, providing strategic and support services including : financial management; procurement and planning; advice on people and culture; legal, parliamentary and secretariat services; governance, risk and audit advice; management of data and remote sensing; enterprise project management; and information and technology.

  • Provide executive support to the Executive Director Business Services Portfolio's leadership team through the coordination and contribution to multidisciplinary projects across the Portfolio
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the strategic objectives, priorities and operational goals of the Dept
  • You will have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and partner agency's executive, high-level committee members and the research community.
  • Well-developed leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to effectively utilise knowledge and resources to ensure the timely delivery in a changing environment, including the ability to effectively manage tasks of competing priorities.
  • Excellent analysis and written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesise and interpret complex information in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • To be successful in the role you will be able to demonstrate capability in line with the APS Integrated Leadership System and Work Level Standards at the EL1 classification, as well as possess :

  • A willingness to build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders and well-developed skills in communication, analysis and problem solving.
  • An ability to effectively collaborate across business lines, gather information and provide insights.
