We are focused on creating amazing sailing experiences for our guests on the beautiful lake Macquarie. We have a variety of morning, afternoon and full-day tours with platters and drinks served during the tour. We are fun and relaxed whilst also remaining professional and highly attentive to giving our guests life long memories in a safe manor on the waterway.

• A bit about the position

We are currently seeking a hostess for our tours who can assist with basic sailing and vessel manoeuvres (training provided) and serving / entertaining our customers.

This is a casual position with varied hours, applicants must be available for weekend work and some week day also if available.

We can offer you first aid training, assistance with obtaining boating certifications and we can invite you to our various business and networking events.

• Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to the following;
• Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with the safe operation of the vessel
• Host guests in a fun, yet safe and professional manner
• Maintain clear communication with guests and crew
• Ability to react on any issues that may arise
• Making our guests smile
• Serving food and drinks when required
• Basic cleaning and maintenance

To excel in this role, you will have a natural passion for all things outdoors, a sense of adventure and a desire to connect with people.

• Ideally you will have
• A friendly, outgoing and approachable personality and a love of people and the outdoors.
• Reliable and consistent availability on weekends and some weekdays
• Excellent customer service skills
• High energy levels, physically fit and a confident swimmer.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Sailing experience preferred but not essential.
• Have your own transport.
• Current 1st aid certificate preferable and General Boat licence preferable.
