Position OverviewThe position sits within the Business support team and provides digital, technical and communication platform support / advice to the NNTT. The Communication & Digital Coordinator works independently, as well as works effectively as part of a team, for the timely completion of tasks.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaising with Tribunal and Entity teams with expertise to design and produce the final suite of products.
- End to end design project management plans and timelines that includes research of existing sector material and programs, identification of key messages and appropriate formats, content development, final production and mechanisms for future evaluation.
- Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships to ensure the relevance and utility of communications products and programs
- Design and optimise digital content for the NNTT website, intranet and SharePoint sites.
- Assist with publishing and advertising requirements, keeping in frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assists with creating advertising calendars, procedures, templates and media kits as well as maintaining appropriate records for reconciliation, reporting and statistics.
- Display a high standard of compliance with organisational practices and procedures, including records and information management practices, and ownership of work.

- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Possess an ability to communicate sensitively with and demonstrate cultural understanding of and with respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Proven experience and proficiency in developing creative visual content that conveys clear messages across a broad range of channels.
- Well-developed organisational and project management skills, including the ability to manage design production schedules for multiple projects and monitor workflows and standards to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated oral and interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels and the ability to build and sustain a network of positive working relationships with key people, internally and externally.
- Proven ability to act impartially and professionally, and operate within the boundaries of organisational processes, constraints and APS values.
- Qualifications
Qualifications / demonstrated experience in graphic design, communications and creative content development, while not essential, would be an advantage.

- Australian citizenship - the successful applicant must hold Australian citizenship;
- Security and character clearance - the successful applicant must satisfy a Police Records Check, and may also be required to complete security clearances during the course of their employment;
- Health clearance - the successful applicant may be required to complete a health declaration or attend a medical assessment to confirm their fitness for duty.
