Maintenance Electrician

Job descriptionA Grade Electrical License Experience in industrial or maintenance electrical work Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, and control systems Some understanding of steel fabrication and pneumatics Able to work both independently and in a team Strong focus on workplace safety Experience in meat processing or food production is a plus Comfortable in a fast-moving, deadline-focused environment
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable electrician to join our busy team. You’ll maintain and repair electrical systems, respond to breakdowns, and assist with upgrades and projects across the Tallangatta plant.
Your Main Duties
- Quickly respond to electrical breakdowns to keep production moving
- Carry out routine checks and testing on equipment
- Troubleshoot and fix issues, especially on new production lines
- Help with plant upgrades and improvement projects
- Assist with basic steel and pneumatic systems
- Always follow safety rules and procedures
