The Company

Concentis  is partnering with  Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB ) to source a  Water Operator  for the Water Treatment team.

The Gladstone Area Water Board (GAWB) is a commercial Statutory Authority whose purpose is to supply water in bulk to major consumers in the Gladstone Region. Those consumers comprise major industries, power generating organisations, and the Gladstone Regional Council.  GAWB manages a variety of assets ranging from major water storage through to pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks and water treatment plants and operates and maintains recreational facilities including a fish fingerling hatchery and associated stocking program.

Their vision is to deliver safe and reliable water services to enhance the liveability of the region.

The Role

Reporting to the Water Treatment Specialist, your role is to support the daily operations of GAWB’s two water treatment plants and treated water network. Your overall responsibilities will include performing routine asset inspections and minor maintenance to ensure plant reliability as well as monitoring of water quality to ensure it meets Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
