  • About the role
  • As the Strategic Workforce Planning Lead you will manage the development and implementation of the Women's strategic workforce planning framework and processes. This includes developing strategies to build the workforce required to meet emerging and future needs, and using environmental scans, workforce data and analytics to help inform actions to address workforce challenges and support organisational decision making.

    Key responsibilities will see you :

  • Lead, develop and implement the Women's strategic workforce plan in line with contemporary workforce planning practices
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to understand their operational requirements, people and program priorities and current and future workforce needs to inform development of effective workforce initiatives
  • Coach, support and provide expert advice in relation to workforce planning and support continuous improvement of our workforce planning capability and outcomes
  • About you
  • You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to rapidly build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You'll be committed to supporting a for-purpose organisation to meet their strategic goals, in turn making a difference to women and babies in our community.

    You'll bring with you :

  • Knowledge and experience in strategic workforce planning, including the development of plans to address workforce needs linked to organisational requirements and strategic direction
  • Experience in project and change management
  • Experience interpreting, analysing and drawing conclusions from workforce data and reports
  • Experience and / or education related to strategic thinking and communication (verbal and written)
  • An ability to understand the rapidly changing healthcare landscape and factors impacting workforce availability
