The Role

Due to rapid growth, Genus Infrastructure is seeking a Business Support Officer (BSO) to join our friendly and supportive team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have administration experience working with project teams in a fast-paced environment in the utilities / construction or resource industries.

The Role

Due to rapid growth, Genus Infrastructure is seeking a Business Support Officer (BSO) to join our friendly and supportive team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have administration experience working with project teams in a fast-paced environment in the utilities / construction or resource industries.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the BSO's role is to coordinate and carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks to assist the team in achieving company and project goals. This role is a casual role anticipated to be between 20-30 hrs per week. Working From Home is a viable option, however, some attendance to the depot in Kenwick will be required.

Primary Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To

  • Review incoming invoices for accuracy and information
  • Compile invoices and associated information
  • Compile any additional information required
  • Perform reconciliations on invoicing
  • Document Management
  • Providing Support and assistance to other members of the team including covering tasks during absences

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years customer service or administration experience
  • A flexible outlook, with a willingness to learn.
  • Accurate data entry & strong attention to detail skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
