Consulting Associate - Contaminated Land & Site Investigation

ERM is seeking a motivated Environmental Consultant to join our team in Perth to support our Liability Portfolio Management and Remediation Services. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply, particularly those with interest in contaminated site management consulting. You will be part of a growing team responsible for consulting on contaminated sites largely within the WA on a range of investigation, site audit and remediation projects.

This is an opportunity for Environmental Graduates looking to advance their careers with a global leader in sustainability. You will be supported by a management team with a high level of technical expertise. There is also opportunity to work on inter-state projects, and benefit from networking with ERM's global Site Investigation & Risk Assessment Technical Community to share best practices across the industry.

• Responsibilities : Executing environmental assessments and remediation programs involving the collection of field data (soil, soil gas / vapour, groundwater);
• Assistance with statutory and non-statutory site audits;
• Providing inputs into environmental reports;
• Supervise fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and ERM personnel on site;
• Assist with the preparation of client proposals;

Support project managers through planning and delivering field programs and / or budget / task management.

Previous consulting experience (if any) highly desirable

Relevant tertiary qualification (geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, civil engineering, soil science or other related science subject degree).

Building effective working relationships with clients, project teams, disciplines and business units

Full Drivers License issued by an Australian state or territory.
