• are currently seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our clients team either within their workshop or to assist their welding team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the maintenance and repair of conveyors, crushers, and other machinery vital to our operations.
• Our client is a leading quarry operation dedicated to supplying high-quality aggregates for construction projects. _
• Hours
• Monday to Friday, 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM
• Responsibilities
• Assist with maintenance tasks within the workshop or welding team as directed by supervisors
• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks under the guidance of experienced welders
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, crushers, and other equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas
• Requirements
• Reliable transport
• Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including a Drug and Alcohol Screening)
• Previous experience in a trade assistant role, preferably within a workshop or construction environment is highly desirable
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques is desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks as required
