The Defence and Research Data Security Lead will contribute to the overall achievement of the University's strategic goals by supporting Division of Research & Innovation (DRI) leadership to ensure the University complies with essential regulatory requirements and best practice in relation to research data security.

To be successful you will need : Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.Ability to interpret government policy, specifications and guidelines associated with research data security.Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team in developing, implementing and improving processes and procedures to deliver quality service and continuous improvement.High level of organisational skills, including the ability to manage a team, meet tight deadlines, prioritise tasks, and deliver effective and timely outcomes.Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, analyse and solve complex problems.This position requires a National Police check, and requirement to hold or be eligible to hold an Australian security clearance.
