Warehouse Manager

Hunter Tyre Distributors provides a wholesale tyre service across Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid North Coast. We strive for excellent customer service at all times and have an opportunity for a warehouse manager / sales assistant to join our team at our Sandgate premises.

This role puts you as the face of our business and therefore excellent interpersonal skills are a must. We prefer someone with an understanding / interest in the motor vehicle industry that will be comfortable building relationships with our customers.

Your key areas of responsibility are :

• Delivery of stock to customers.
• Managing the receiving and dispatching of stock
• General housekeeping of dispatch and office areas.
• Assist with stocktaking of inventory.
• Managing customer enquiries.
• General cleaning and maintenance of delivery vehicles and workshop areas.

It is essential that you have :

• Current manual driver's licence - Class C (minimum).
• Good computer skills.
• Positive attitude, are reliable, punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow and give instruction / direction to warehouse staff.
• Ability to organise and prioritise deliveries and your workload.
• Physical capability for manual handling of tyres
• Willingness to learn new skills across other areas of the business.

This position is full time, approximately 38 hours per week Mon - Fri.

• Remuneration Package

Starting remuneration package $80,000 including vehicle, phone, superannuation, flexible working hours + commission incentives.
