What's in it for you?Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll be the senior member of the marketing communications team, working on a mix of traditional, digital and trade marketing. You'll be mentoring less experienced members of the team, directing traffic and workflows, while supporting the business unit leaders, product managers and sales team.
Your responsibilities...Work closely with the leadership team, category team and sales team, so that the comms strategy neatly dovetails into the marketing and business plans of the businessDevelop and maintain the overarching company communications and brand strategyManagement of ATL and BTL communicationsStrategy and delivery of PR, print, advertising and trade marketingProduct launch strategy and eventsReporting, analysis and ensuring solid return on investment, along with budget managementYour skills and experience...Broad communications experience - traditional and digital; driving strategy and executionStrong analytical skills, you are just as comfortable talking about the creative as you are discussing analytics and diving into the numbers in an Excel spreadsheetStrong brand management skillsUnderstand who your audience is and you are comfortable targeting a variety of different customer groups - trades, builders, engineers and architects, trade retailers and hardware, along with infrastructureOrganisation and time managementTeam player and able to influence your co-workers in other departments to ensure your teams deadlines are metIdeally, experience in building products, construction or consumer durables.
