The Patient Care Coordinator works independently under the direction of the Director of Operations to recruit, liaise, monitor and coordinate volunteers for the Patient Care programs that support patients and their families.
This role is responsible for a group of shared administration tasks. It is a mobile role that moves across three of the SALHN locations Flinders Medical Centre, The Repat and Noarlunga Hospital.
This diverse role requires an organised administration guru who loves working with people within a small but supportive team. Your skills to be able to identify excellence for volunteering is an asset. Whilst this position is set in a medical environment, it is not a requirement to have had medical experience.
The focus is placed on engaging and coordinating the right volunteers to enhance our programs and the enjoyment of volunteering in a sometimes challenging environment.
