As part of our team, you'll help deliver challenging projects, supported by leadership within an inclusive people-first culture.About the roleBased on recent project awards for resource sector work in the Pilbara, we are actively seeking a Senior Project Engineerto lead a multidisciplinary team in the safe and successful delivery of a key section of the Tonkin Extension Alliance.

This role suits a hands-on leader with extensive experience and understanding of Asphalt and Logistics who thrives in technically complex environments and brings strong collaboration, safety focus, and delivery experience to the tableWhat to expect in this role : Leading the delivery of bituminous surfacing works, including spray seal, full depth asphalt (EME2) and wearing coursesAdministration of a sub-alliance contract model for the bituminous surfacing worksOversite of materials management for general fill and pavement materialsDelivery of works in accordance with project budget, program and quality requirementsReporting of production quantities and financial resultsManaging interface of bituminous surfacing works with multiple project disciplinesWhat were looking for : Act at all times in the spirit of the Alliance working partners and follow the Vision, Purpose, Values of the projectLead and actively drive the Key Result Areas (KRA's) and the associated Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) established for the Alliance, ensuring they are met and aligned with the overall project goals.Be accountable for the performance, management and development of the Alliance staff under your control.Support your manager and team to effectively operate within the Alliance, promoting collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility.Ensure HSEQ awareness is maintained at all timesAbility to resolve both commercial and technical issues in a timely mannerWhat You'll Need : Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Design Management, or a related discipline.10+ years' experience in asphalt delivery or managing subcontractors in asphalt scope.Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and facilitate alignment between design and construction.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated experience in budget, timeline, and change control managementWe believe our people do their best work when they feel supported — personally and professionally.
