About the Role A Business Analyst at SYD plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for identifying, analysing and translating business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications to support the design and delivery of technology solutions. Working closely with stakeholders across the airport, the Business Analyst ensures that technology solutions are aligned with strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities will include Engaging and maintaining strong, ongoing communication with all stakeholders to align on project goals, priorities and outcomesLeading the gathering, analysis and validation of business requirements, identifying challenges and opportunities for improvementOrganising and facilitating workshops and meetings to gather requirementsEvaluating and recommending process improvements, utilising process modelling techniques where appropriateTracking and measuring business value throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with expected benefitsDeveloping and championing business analysis standards, tools and methodologies to drive consistency, quality and best practice across the organisationAbout you Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related degreeMinimum 5 years' experience in business and process analysis within a technology environmentStrong judgement and professionalism, with the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesExperience with change management highly regardedExposure to OT systems or technologies such as SCADA, CCTV, access control, and passenger flow analytics.Proven ability to break down complex problems, identify patters and derive insightsStrong written and verbal communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong skills in eliciting, documenting and validating business requirementsAdaptable and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhat we offer To find out more about the amazing work environment here at SYD, be sure to check out the Join us section of Sydney Airport's website, where you can also see more about our flexible culture and work practices, alongside our other Employee benefits, or take a look at our LinkedIn Sydney Airport : Life page.
