Assistant Director, Policy

The ACT Revenue Office is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual with a demonstrated aptitude for policy to participate in research and legislative development. To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to interpret and advise on legislation, undertake critical analysis and exercise flexibility, tact and discretion. The successful applicant will be delivering legislative changes to tax laws (and other instruments) and support their implementation within the Office and with other stakeholders.

• Eligibility / Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Law, Economics) are highly desirable.

A merit pool may be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.

This is a temporary position available for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and / or permanency.
