Our Cabramatta, NSW based Service Technician will enjoy being part of our team and working in an energetic environment. Your primary duties will involve equipment safety checks, servicing, repairs, general maintenance, and equipment cleanliness. The position would suit a mechanically minded person with experience in mini and mobile cranes, and excavators. This is a workshop-based role with some Field service work required.

About You

Minimum 3+ years mechanical experience in a similar role is highly desirable.Heavy Diesel / Plant Mechanic certificateExcellent communication skills (written / verbal)Commitment to high safety standardsCommitment to product quality and deliveryAutonomous and independent workerEWP & Crane tickets desirable.Auto electrical trade certificate desirableMust pass background check, drug test, and driving record check.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Be interested and motivated in learning to diagnose faults, make recommendations, and complete minor repairs as required.Be willing to read and interpret drawings / specs to determine and complete the job.Quality inspections of our fleet pre-hire and on returnUse of hand and power tools.Be able to work as part of a team.Work within Preston Hire's high safety, quality, and process standards.
