We are recruiting a qualified

  • Diesel Technician / Mechanic
  • to join our busy
  • Engine Repair & Rebuild
  • workshop (Head Hunters) on a 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) working roster.
  • ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Workshop Team Leader, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components.

  • Your typical day will look a little like this
  • Rebuilding engines from all makes / models
  • Assembling short block, long block and complete arrangements
  • Compiling and completing accurate reporting
  • Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on
  • ABOUT YOU
  • You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role
  • A fully qualified Diesel Technician with 5 years minimum rebuild experience
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
