Teacher Technology - Hoxton Park High School

Hoxton Park High School is a comprehensive, co-educational high school that welcomes and accommodates students from different backgrounds and with different learning needs. The school has adopted the four core values of care, respect, participation and excellence. The school population consists of 85% of students from language backgrounds other than English and 31 Indigenous students. There are more than 10 different cultures represented in the school population. The school is proud of its strong multicultural tradition and the values students learn about tolerance of diversity and inclusivity. The school has a strong academic focus, and its priority areas include literacy, numeracy, creative and critical intelligences, and STEM. The school strategic improvement plan focuses on building high potential teachers to inspire and unlock the high potential of all students, ensures that students are proactively engaged in their learning to foster their transferrable skills across KLAs and school-wide context. Approval to teach Technology Mandatory and Industrial Technology Timber.

Demonstrated capacity to plan, implement and deliver innovative teaching programs to differentiate learning and engage students from diverse backgrounds.

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a collaborative member of the Technological and Applied Studies Faculty.
