Role Overview

Join a leading superannuation fund as a Fund Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst. In this key role, you will oversee the accuracy and compliance of financial and regulatory reports, drive the implementation of APRA’s Phase 2 SDT and sustainability reporting, and lead automation initiatives to streamline processes. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely submissions and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Review and validate superannuation financial reports for accuracy before submission to management and regulators
• Oversee timely preparation and lodgement of APRA reporting forms, including quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc returns
• Collaborate with fund administrators, custodians, and internal teams to ensure data integrity and reporting compliance
• Lead process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
• Serve as the technical expert for superannuation reporting queries and provide guidance to stakeholders
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments to keep reporting practices up to date
• Develop, document, and implement accounting and regulatory reporting policies relevant to the fund
• Support automation and data-driven initiatives to streamline reporting workflows
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners
• Participate in strategic planning and special projects as required

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CA / CPA qualified)
• 3+ years’ superannuation reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of APRA, ABS, and MySuper reporting
• Experience with regulatory and sustainability reporting
• Skilled in automation and AI tools for reporting efficiency
• Familiar with accounting standards (AASB 1056) and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
