Role Overview
Join a leading superannuation fund as a Fund Financial & Regulatory Reporting Analyst. In this key role, you will oversee the accuracy and compliance of financial and regulatory reports, drive the implementation of APRA’s Phase 2 SDT and sustainability reporting, and lead automation initiatives to streamline processes. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely submissions and continuous improvement. Ideal for a finance professional with superannuation experience seeking a high-impact role in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate superannuation financial reports for accuracy before submission to management and regulators
- Oversee timely preparation and lodgement of APRA reporting forms, including quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc returns
- Collaborate with fund administrators, custodians, and internal teams to ensure data integrity and reporting compliance
- Lead process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy
- Serve as the technical expert for superannuation reporting queries and provide guidance to stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments to keep reporting practices up to date
- Develop, document, and implement accounting and regulatory reporting policies relevant to the fund
- Support automation and data-driven initiatives to streamline reporting workflows
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners
- Participate in strategic planning and special projects as required
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CA / CPA qualified)
- 3+ years’ superannuation reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of APRA, ABS, and MySuper reporting
- Experience with regulatory and sustainability reporting
- Skilled in automation and AI tools for reporting efficiency
- Familiar with accounting standards (AASB 1056) and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
