About the Opportunity

Fairfield Hospital is seeking a Senior Security Officer to lead our security team, oversee daily operations, and deliver training that supports a safe and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

This role reports to the Manager of Security & Patient Services and plays a key part in fostering team engagement and collaboration across the hospital campus, including Corella Lodge and Hammondville Braeside Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and coordinate staff duties.
• Support compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Respond to incidents professionally and with care.
• Build positive relationships with clinical teams, patients, and families.

Additional Information

Applicants must hold a current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A), First Aid Certification, and an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Experience in supervising security staff, delivering training, and working with electronic security systems is required.
