Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling, to identify key business insights and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and insights.
Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2-3+ years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm, banking institution, large corporate, or similar environment.
Strong proficiency in Excel modelling, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Prior experience in the energy sector or utilities industry is advantageous.
