Trainee Mobile Plant Operators

• The Role

We are seeking hardworking, good work ethic and proactive individuals with a passion for safety to join our team as Mobile Plant Operators. No prior experience is necessary; we will provide training for the right people.

The role involves operating various types of heavy earthmoving equipment, including but not limited to :

• Haul Trucks (CAT 785C / D)
• Loaders (CAT 992G / K)
• Wheel Dozers (854K)
• Track Dozers (D10R / T)
• Graders (CAT 16 / 18M)
• Excavators (Hitachi 1100 and 1900)
• What we can offer you
• An 18-month intensive Traineeship within a professional mining department at Murrin Murrin
• You will be assisted by the Company to obtain a HR Class drivers licence as part of the program if you do not already possess one. You must hold a C-Class drivers licence.
• The RII30120 Certificate III in Surface Extractions - is achieved through a combination of hands-on, on-the-job training in our mining area, as well as off-site training, and in a block training format, at TAFE, in Perth
• A supervised training program to assist you to reach your goals as a mobile plant operator in the mining industry.
• You will be required to shadow the life and role of the operator, on a 14 days on, 14 days off roster, including nightshifts, to confirm shift capabilities and crew / area suitability
