Job description
Experienced medical receptionist required to join our small team in our busy medical practice practice located in Cardiff.
Key responsibilities :
- General reception Duties
- Billing and creating accounts
- answering telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Liaise with GPs all health professionals and their staff in a confident professional manner
- Work both independently and cooperatively in a small team environment
- document scanning and allocation
- Accurately record and pass on messages for GPs / Nurses
- greeting patients
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
Essential Criteria
Experience in Best Practice software a mustExperience in all aspects of general practice billing a mustExcellent computer skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills is an essential component to this job.Ability to prioritise workload with excellent time management skillsFlexibility with days and hours and flexibility to cover shifts when needed must be available to cover annual leave and sick leaveA professional and empathetic nature towards patientsThe ability to deal confidently and courteously with othersPrevious experience in general practice a mustJob TypesFull-time, Part-time, PermanentSchedule :
