Territory Sales Manager QLD / NT (Orthotics)

We are currently seeking a motivated sales professional with a strong background in Orthotics to join our sales team to service our existing customers and create new opportunities in QLD and NT.

Our Bracing & Supports, and Neuro Orthotics businesses offer proven and effective treatment options. Össur strives to maintain its position as the innovation leader in the Braces & Supports market by continuing to develop simple, yet effective and clinically proven treatment solutions that improve people's quality of life. Based from a remote home office in QLD, the position involves all aspects of sales, primarily face-to-face visitations. Customers include allied medical practitioners such as orthotists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, nurses and medical practitioners, as well as doctors and surgeons.

That's OK! Your motivated and successful sales manager and colleagues will provide all of the guidance, education and support you need.

Responsibilities :

  • Developing and executing the territory sales strategy to achieve sales goals, increased market share, brand awareness, revenue and profitability
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships, ensuring they are aware of all changes to products and services, and receive a high level of service, differentiating us from our competitors
  • Communicating pricing and product positioning plans for all products
  • Ensuring successful new product launches and rollouts
  • Maintaining an up-to-date Customer Relationship Management system
  • Analysing and segmenting the customer base to ensure sales & marketing strategies are in place to maximize sales and revenue opportunities
  • Strengthening and maintaining relationships with industry bodies, relevant allied health and hospital facilities, and conducting regular sales / education visits to these facilities

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Orthotist qualifications are essential
  • Experience in a clinical orthotics role is critical and exposure to the use of bracing would be preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a successful sales portfolio
  • Sound selling skills
  • Highly proficient in relationship building skills
  • Sound level of customer focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to focus on outcomes and drive for results
  • Strong analytical skills
