    • What are we looking for
    • We are looking for an Assistant Swim Coach to join our Rackley Caloundra team, on a casual basis for 10-20 hours per week. The role will be based at the Caloundra Aquatic Centre. The Caloundra Rackley squad has swimmers ranging from junior through to national level in both pool and surf disciplines. This position offers the successful applicant a unique opportunity to join the Rackley swimming coaching team, in an organisation that is committed to developing the sport and actively supports the performance pathways.

    • What you need to succeed
    • Plan & Implement the program for Junior, Bronze and Silver squads.
    • Provide a holistic approach to swimming with a strong understanding of both the physiological and psychological needs for swimmer development.
    • Encourage the transition between Learn To Swim & Squad Program
    • Attend and encourage swimmers to attend club nights and promote joining the Pelican Waters Swimming Club to compete in local, State and National level competitions.
    • Form relationships with the community, parents and children within the centre.
    • Attend local / national meets.
    • Work closely and collaborate with the National Age & Head Coach as needed
    • Essential Qualifications
    • Development Coach accreditation
    • Current Blue Card
    • Current CPR and lifeguard
    • Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification
