Customer Relationship Officer

Denovo Recruitment are currently representing a reputable Freight Forwarder / Transport business based in Sydney who are seeking a Customer Relationship Officer to join their growing team.

As a Customer Relationship Officer, you will be working with both new and existing customers. To be successful within this role you will demonstrate the ability to provide high quality customer service, be proactive and have excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.

• Responsibilities include but not limited to
• Client portfolio management
• Establish and maintain a good rapport with customers
• Dedication to provide exceptional Customer Service
• Provide Customer satisfaction
• Willingness to exceed customer expectations
• Handling general customer enquiries and query resolution
• Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements
• Liaising with overseas partners, internal departments, vendors, and clients
• Attending client visits as required
• Managing Customer Rate Cards
• Preparing and submitting client quotations
• Preparing reports for Customers
• Participate in customer business reviews.
• Implement, evaluate and maintain SOPs
• Experience and skills needed
• Freight forwarding experience is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in Customer Service within Freight Forwarding
• Knowledge of import operations and customs procedures.
• Strong relationship building experience skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Experience using CargoWise software (CW1) - Advantageous
